​The Law Offices of James Frederick Korth

​James F. Korth is the fifth generation of his family to reside in Fort Worth, Texas.  After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

After four years on active duty in the Marine Corps, Mr. Korth returned to Texas.  He stayed in the Marine Corps reserve and enrolled at St. Mary's School of Law.  His studies were interrupted during his first year of law school when he was activated in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  On active duty he served as platoon commander for the Second Force Reconnaissance Company during the initial invasion. When he returned from active duty, Mr. Korth re-enrolled in law school and graduated in December 2005. He was also activated in 2010 to serve in Afghanistan, where he served as an Infantry Company Commander in the Helmand Province.

Mr. Korth’s work concentrates in commercial litigation, and oil & gas.

  • Board of Directors James L. West Alzheimer Center(2010-Present) (Chairman-elect) – The Center is a non-profit, long-term-care residential and Senior Adult Day Program located in Fort Worth, Texas for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias. The center is a licensed as an Alzheimer's-specific nursing facility with over 120 beds.
  • Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate (2009-Present) – The organization raises over 2 million dollars in scholarships and prize money annually for FFA and 4H children showing livestock at the Fort Worth Rodeo.
  • Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court(2010-2015) – Exclusive Legal Mentor Program is an association of judges, lawyers, law professors, and law students in Fort Worth. The mission is to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar.
  • Texas Christian University: Board of Visitors.(2014-Present)
